Paul Ihnatiuk

Paul is a Vice-President with over two decades of insolvency experience helping his clients restart their financial lives. Prior to joining BDO, Paul worked with a major financial institution as a Personal Account Manager. Since joining BDO in 2000, Paul has been working with individuals, businesses, financial advisors and lawyers to help find creative and pragmatic solutions to resolve financial difficulties. This gives him a unique perspective when meeting with individuals and advising them on how to deal with their creditors.
Paul understands that knowledge is key. The more people know about their financial situation, the easier it is to deal with it in difficult times. By helping people increase their financial literacy, Paul helps guide them through their options and find a solution to relieve their debt stress. Paul is a regular contributor of insolvency-related topics on two monthly radio shows. He has presented financial literacy workshops to union members and students in the Hamilton/Niagara area.
In his free time, Paul is active with his family in the Hamilton community, and when his children were younger, was a regular volunteer, in the Dundas Minor Sports Community. He is a past coach and convenor with the Dundas Youth Soccer Club and past coach and Past President of Dundas Minor Hockey Association.
